A medical malpractice lawsuit has been scheduled to be reheard before the Kansas Supreme Court.

The rearguments have been scheduled for February 18 at 9 a.m. The case is about a woman that allegedly had the wrong ovary removed by a doctor. The dispute is over the damages that were awarded to the woman.

The court first heard the case in October 2009, but a decision was never made. Since then the Chief Justice passed away and now the case will be reargued in front of a new Chief Justice. Each side will have 90 minutes to argue their side.
