Kansas City police have announced that they have identified a man who was killed in crash that occurred after he fled from police.
The incident began when police tried to pull the man over for speeding and driving recklessly on 39th Street. Police attempted to pull him over and thought that he was stopping when he flipped a U-turn and drive the wrong way down Harrison.
Police chased him for several miles until the man attempted to pass a vehicle and rear-ended it. His vehicle then flipped and rolled multiple times ending up back on his wheels. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
