A couple was killed in a Kansas City motorcycle accident that occurred Wednesday in Cass County.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on East Highway 2 when the couple was attempting to pass a Dodge Ram that was traveling in the same direction.
When going around the truck, police officials believe that they did not see an oncoming vehicle and then collided head-on.
The driver of the other car was injured after the collision caused the vehicle to travel off the side of the road and crashed into a utility pole. The man and woman on the motorcycle were both killed.
