Two semi-trucks were involved in an accident in Pratt on Monday. Luckily, both drivers escaped serious injury in the collision.
According to officials, the accident occurred as a 61-year-old was heading westbound and was pulling a trailer full of hazardous material when he came to a stop at the railroad tracks. A pickup truck that was traveling behind the trailer swerved out of the way to avoid striking the tractor trailer.
A tractor trailer behind the pickup truck then tried to avoid any collision, but ended up striking the back of the trailer. The trucks had minor damage after the collision and one had to be towed away from the scene.
