A 78-year-old man was injured in a bicycle accident after he hit a Missouri Highway Patrol vehicle.
The accident occurred on Missouri 210 when the trooper stopped a motorist on the side of the road when the bicyclist struck the car.
The man was wearing a helmet during the accident, but was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews. An investigation into the accident is still underway at this time.
