A man that has been suspected of hitting a pedestrian was located and arrested by police officials two days after the incident.
According to state patrol, the man was arrested on U.S. Highway 40 after the community and a database helped to narrow down the vehicle and they eventually found the correct one that was involved in the accident in question.
The accident occurred on Missouri Highway 7 when a 42-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by the alleged drunk driver. After the alleged hit and run driver was found by police, he was taken in to the county jail.
