A Kansas City man has been charged after a drunk driving car accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. on Friday that left one man dead.
According to investigators, it is thought that the 21-year-old man rear-ended the back of the victim’s car as he was stopped attempting a left turn. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
When police arrived at the scene, the 21-year-old man had an open can of beer in his car. The man was charged with involuntary manslaughter and they may be upgraded after toxicology reports are determined.
