Kansas City police are still investigating a pedestrian accident, but have determined that there as no foul play. The woman was struck by at least six different vehicles as she tried to cross Interstate 29.
The 25-year-old Topeka woman attempted to cross the highway at 4:15 a.m. and she walked into the path of a northbound car. After this collision, she was struck by five other cars. Before the accident, the woman was given a ride to the area when an argument occurred.
She went to a hotel to ask for a cab, but walked off before it got there. Police are investigating whether the woman was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when the accident took place.
