The food company, Ocean Spray, has announced the recall of certain packages of dried cranberries, or Craisins, after it was found that they has small metal fragments in them.

The recalled product, “Sweetened Dried Cranberries” were sold in bulk as well as 5-ounce, 10-ounce and 48-ounce packages.

Although there have not yet been injury reports from this, ingesting small metal pieces can cause serious health issues and consumers are urged to throw away the affected bags. Consumers can also receive a coupon to replace the recalled product.
