One person was injured after being involved in a railroad accident when their vehicle and a train collided.
According to Kansas officials, the accident occurred when a driver disregarded the crossing arms at a railroad crossing and was struck by the Kansas City Southern Railroad car.
The woman driving the car was taken to a nearby hospital in order to be treated, but her injuries are said to not be life threatening. The intersection was shut down while officials investigated the accident. The train was running again an hour after the incident. Police officials are still investigating the accident at this time.
